Trendler started business in 1932 as a manufacturer of metal components and furniture parts including seats, backs, and swivels. We did not begin producing finished furniture products until the late 1980s when imports and wholesalers increased the competition for our OEM customers who we had been supplying with parts. It was clear that there was a demand for quality American made furniture, so Trendler started producing finished chairs and barstools using the quality parts we were already manufacturing.

When we first started making finished barstools and furniture, we were providing these products directly to our OEM customers with private labeling. We launched our Trendler brand furniture products including chairs and barstools in 2015. Our finished handmade barstools are available to OEMs, bars, and restaurants and individual consumers who want quality barstools for their homes.

Types of Barstools from Trendler

We offer a variety of barstool models from our complete lines of handmade barstools with customizable options for frames, backs, seats, and swivels.

1. Wooden barstools: Our line of wooden barstools includes more than two dozen styles including backless barstools and several different wooden back styles. The option for a cushion seat is available for many of our wood barstool models. We have wooden barstools available from our wood seating line, wood cluster tops from our Americana series, and wood barstools with metal frames from our Karaoke Wood line. We offer several wood finishes including walnut, mahogany, cherry, and natural.
2. Metal barstools: We offer a complete line of metal barstools in backed and backless styles, made from high-quality metal materials. You can choose from barstool models with metal, wood, or cushion seats as well as models with metal frames and wood seats and backs. Our metal barstools feature a powder coat finish with many options available including anodized nickel, pewter, bronze, a beautiful chrome, and more.
3. Upholstered barstools: Our upholstery series and retro series feature a variety of styles of upholstered barstools. The barstools from our upholstery line have wooden frames and upholstered seats and backs, and there are several backless styles as well. You can choose from around 80 different colors of vinyl upholstery for our upholstered barstools. We also offer retro style barstools through our retro line with classic style frames and upholstered seats and backs.
4. Swivel barstools: Trendler offers several motion barstool models that feature our high-quality swivels.  The steel swivels included on our swivel barstool models are made from durable steel and the swivel mechanism consists of ball bearings that provide smooth, quiet 180-degree rotation. We also offer barstools with swivels that feature the 90 degree stop and auto return function that will move the seat back to its original position.
5. Custom barstools: We can work with our customers to produce unique, custom barstools. You can choose from our available backless and backed styles, materials, upholstery colors, wood and metal finishes, and swivel options to create your barstools. We also offer custom etching to add your logo to wood and metal backs.
